Responsibilities: Position Overview * Drives the design/delivery of technical solutions to customers based on Keysight products and services. * Keeps abreast of market trends and competitive products, identifying differentiators in L47, Security, SDN, Cloud, and NFV Test product spaces. * Engaged throughout the sales process, including: * Requirements analysis * Feature demonstrations * Benchmarking * Competitive positioning * Execution * Owns the deal's technical closure. * Understands customer's technology, products, and security test requirements to recommend appropriate solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction. * Integrates/Installs Keysight products and services at the system/solutions level within customer environments, ensuring interoperability. * Acts as the customer voice to influence future product designs to meet customer needs. * May be regional or product/technology focused, specifically in Routing, Switching, Application & Security Testing, SDN, and NFV testing. * May deliver customer training classes and consulting related to installed solutions and Keysight applications. Duties and Responsibilities * Provide technical expertise through sales presentations detailing: * Keysight solution capabilities * Security differentiators * Industry insights * Support technical evaluations of Routing, Switching, Application & Security Testing, SDN, and NFV solutions onsite in customer labs or pre-production facilities. * Understand customer's future security and AI-related needs to assist with roadmap and future product feature requests. * Author test plans for customer product evaluations, particularly for: * Security vulnerabilities * Threat mitigation * Execute test plans and provide actionable security analysis reports. * Operate with minimal direction from management while collaborating with account managers to prioritize tasks effectively. * Work with other Solution Engineers to share insights and foster a team atmosphere. * Willing to travel across India based on business requirements (40% Travel). Qualifications: Careers Privacy Statement ***Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*** * Minimum Bachelor's level Engineering degree. * 10 to 15 years' experience as a pre-sales system engineer or equivalent related to Routing/Switching/SDN/NFV/Security test products. * Valid CCIE (Routing & Switching) or equivalent certification. * Experience in working with firewalls from vendors such as: * Palo Alto * Fortinet * Check Point * Cisco * Juniper * Strong background in networking, including: * VLANs * BGP * OSPF * ISIS * MPLS * PIM * L2 VPNs * L3VPNs * SDN * Virtualization * Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, and common application security vulnerabilities. * Familiarity with security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments. * Hands-on deployment and application security testing experience with SDN, NFV VM platforms like VMware, OpenStack, etc. * Experience with security protocols such as TLS, IPsec, and authentication mechanisms. * Working experience on: * VxLAN * EVPN * OVSDB * PCEP * Netconf * Similar protocols (would be a plus). * Knowledge of AI-related technologies applied in security and network test validation. * Must have knowledge and a solid understanding of applications, including: * OSI model * Common protocols used by enterprise organizations. * Certification in security technologies (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or equivalent vendor certifications) will be a plus. * Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively in complex security environments.
