Currently we are looking for the Software Security Architect 4 

The Software Security Architect 4 plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's products and services by ensuring secure design, rigorous testing, and proactive vulnerability management. This position will work closely with engineering to promote secure coding practices and identify potential risks. 

Responsibilities:

* Review software designs, test plans, and security controls to ensure alignment with established standards. 

* Maintain and evolve threat models; define and review controls to address current risks. 

* Evaluate development and security tools to ensure they meet industry standards and remain effective. 

* Assess, prioritize, and drive remediation of internal and external vulnerabilities, including third-party components. 

* Design and deliver secure development training; promote a strong security culture across engineering. 

* Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for security matters. 

* Mentor and coach team members; provide feedback to leadership on team capabilities and growth. 
* Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 

* Minimum of 8 years of relevant security architecture and application security experience, preferably within a professional services company or similar environment working with startups and large security mature companies 

* 3+ years of experience working with stakeholders across many functions 

* Strong leadership, sound judgement, and business acumen skills 

* Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside of the department 

* Excellent data gathering, interviewing, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

* Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently 

* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

* Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners 

* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact 

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

* Ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner 

* Up to 5% travel time required
