Software Procurement Consultant
contract type: full-time | location: Bucharest, Romania | working model: hybrid (office approx. 1 per week)

As a Software Procurement Consultant, you'll advise clients on how to source software efficiently, negotiate strong commercial terms, and manage vendor relationships with confidence. You'll support strategic buying decisions and help clients optimize cost, value, and compliance in a global environment.
What you'll do
* Work with clients to understand software needs and align them with business goals.
* Recommend the right vendors, licensing models, and commercial options.
* Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and renewals.
* Analyze costs to identify savings, risks, and optimization opportunities.
* Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and smooth renewals.
* Stay updated on software market trends to provide relevant, data-driven guidance.
Qualifications:
* Background in software procurement, IT consulting, or vendor management.
* Strong understanding of licensing models, commercial terms, and supplier ecosystems.
* Confidence in negotiating contracts and engaging with senior stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate cost, value, and risk.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and procurement or contract management tools.
* Professional certifications (CIPS, CSCP, CPCM) are a plus.
