Responsibilities: Meet the Recruiter: Eric Laffey Shift: Monday-Friday Department: Digital Transformation Job Summary: The Software Engineer III is responsible for working in a mission-critical and growth-driven environment. Additionally, the Engineer III is responsible for the design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and documentation of various software systems supporting an industry-leading battery assembly line. The Engineer III will work closely with fellow developers, project managers, and multiple stakeholders in driving significant improvements in efficiency, delivery, resilience, and overall employee well-being across the company. Essential Duties: * Works with levels I & II to write quality test-driven and well-documented code in a highly collaborative environment across the entire software stack. * Works with Sr. Engineers to design, maintain, and iterate on high-availability, low-latency applications relating to battery manufacturing. * Pair remotely and in person with fellow developers. * Maintain an up-to-date understanding of software trends and best practices * Develop a comprehensive understanding of battery production operations * Provide time-sensitive support and bug fixes * Train both technical and non-technical staff in new software operations * Train and collaborate with engineers of different levels Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: * To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
