				Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Voice Communication with experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex voice systems. This role requires significant software development capabilities, specifically building backend services in Go (Golang) and creating cross-platform applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AlloyDB databases and will be responsible for troubleshooting intricate voice issues while ensuring robust system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

* Establishes requirements for highly complex system design projects that establish requirements, design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) for voice communication applications.
* Develop cross-platform applications to integrate with our voice services and provide enhanced user experience.
* Architect, design, deploy, configure and maintain highly complex enterprise-level voice communication infrastructure PBX/ VoIP Systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice quality and connectivity issues across various platforms and network environments and manage and optimize voice gateways, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), SIP trunks, and related voice network components.
* Develop and implement dial plans, call routing strategies, and voice security policies.
* Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of all voice systems.
* Lead and participate in voice system upgrade and migration projects.
* Utilize and manage relational databases, specifically AlloyDB, for storing and retrieving voice application data, call detail records (CDRs), and system configurations.
* Design database schemas and optimize queries for performance and scalability and ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
* Develops and applies technical and quality improvements.
* Creates new programs, technologies and solutions based on novel or unique ideas. Ensures new ideas and methodologies are documented for use by software teams. 
* Uses status as a knowledge leader in system design and functional knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines and program management to provide technical leadership to a given program. 
* Defines requirements for and may design complex new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of complex problems.
* Initiates cross-company collaboration and develops positive relationships with other engineering disciplines. 
* Exercises judgment (within broadly defined policies and practices) in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
* May coordinate the activities of other personnel. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field with 5+ year experience or Masters degree and 4+ year experience
*  Experience in developing applications using Go (Golang)
* Experience in designing, implementing and managing complex voice communication systems like VoIP Systems.

Preferred Qualifications: 

* Advance knowledge of enterprise-level voice communication infrastructure including PBX solutions.
* Experience in developing cross platform applications.
* Experience with relational databases like AlloyDB and PostgreSQL.
