Responsibilities: Information Management Group, Inc. (IMG) is a trusted leader in delivering innovative IT and cybersecurity solutions with a commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and professional growth for over 30 years. IMG is hiring a Software Developer that will develop high quality code, perform and remediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principles, and perform thorough testing with attention to detail to ensure high quality software is delivered. The Software Developer must have an active DOE L clearance or an active DoD Secret clearance at a minimum. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in West Mifflin, PA. Key Responsibilities * Develop high quality code * Provide support for all aspects of the software development lifecycle * Remediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principles * Develop, review, and execute test cases with attention to detail * Publish engineering documentation including architectural diagrams and technical specifications * Develop and perform validation and verification of user manual content * Implement database design changes * Perform code reviews Qualifications: Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology * 4+ years of relevant experience in software development to include one or more of the following: * C#, Visual Basic, Javascript, C++, and the .NET Framework * Expertise in software engineering practices and software lifecycle models * Experience with Dev/Ops environments * Familiarity with database architectures, familiarity with identifying and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities, experience in creating and executing detailed test plans for new and updated applications * Capability to identify and document test defects encountered while testing * Ability to troubleshoot defects to determine root cause, experience in creating detailed test reports, * Ability to proficiently update technical manuals * Active DoD Secret or DoE L security clearance Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience * Strong IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Demonstrated ability to articulate technical solutions and concepts through verbal and written communication in a clear and concise manner * Demonstrated multi-tasking and prioritization abilities * Demonstrated ability to work on projects in a team environment, as well as individually * Knowledge of chemistry principles, in particular nuclear plant chemistry
