Responsibilities: As our Controls Engineer, you will report to the Controls Manager. On a given day, you may: * Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system. * Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed * Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary * Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support * Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test. May also support Field service with remote and onsite technical support. * Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization. * Commitment to safety, understand risks, safety training, reports and document incidents as required. * Ability to interact with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company in a professional manner. * Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings * Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for customers * Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field * Is a controls engineering subject matter expert. Requirements for the role * 3 years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical * BSEE or BSEET is required * Packaging or food & beverage experience preferred * You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
