Join us in a customer-facing role where you shape solution strategies, enable sales teams, and deliver real value through multivendor collaboration.
You will work closely with the Sales Organization, Account Managers, Global Service Delivery Centers (GSDC), Solution Specialists, and Vendor Partners, playing a key role in advancing SoftwareOne's multivendor Software & Cloud solutions across named accounts.
The Software & Cloud Consultant - MV is responsible for shaping and driving strategic and operational solution outcomes for customers and prospects. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role partners with sales and delivery teams to understand customer needs, design integrated multivendor Software & Cloud solutions, and support growth through value-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with Account Managers to identify, shape, and progress new business opportunities using multivendor Software & Cloud solutions.
* Lead and support RFP and proposal processes, coordinating internal teams and multiple vendors to deliver comprehensive, customer-focused solutions.
* Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within named accounts to increase customer value and gross profit.
* Support customer onboarding and service adaptation across multivendor platforms to ensure high-quality delivery and optimal utilization.
* Collaborate with GSDC and vendor partners to ensure consistent operational quality and seamless service integration.
* Act as a subject-matter expert in customer meetings and presentations, representing multivendor Software & Cloud solution capabilities.
Qualifications:
* Strong collaboration skills to work with sales teams on strategic, high-potential accounts and contribute to effective account plans.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to connect industry trends, customer needs, and multivendor Software & Cloud solutions.
* Ability to support sales enablement on products, licensing, services, and solution positioning.
* Experience resolving complex customer or delivery issues by working across account teams, vendors, and internal support functions.
* Customer intelligence mindset, using data and insights to build trusted relationships and inform solution strategies.
* Understanding of structured sales methodologies and value-based selling approaches, particularly in multivendor environments.
