About this opportunity 

As an Algorithm Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a talented team, honing your leadership and management abilities in a high-tech, innovative environment.

* You'll have the chance to shape the direction and culture of your team, creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performance atmosphere that can have a lasting impact on both the team and the company
* Work on the development of state-of-the-art vision and graphics algorithms for iTero scanners, a leading technology in the medical device and orthodontics industry
* As a key player in the algorithm development process, you'll have a direct hand in shaping the vision and future direction of Align Technology's next-generation products.

In this role, you will  

* Lead and mentor a team of algorithm developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Design, develop, and optimize algorithms to solve complex problems and improve product performance.
* Leading full Algo development cycle - starting from understanding the business requirements, defining solution strategy, leading to production code delivery
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team members and your project peers
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers to integrate algorithms into products
* Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
* Communicate technical concepts and project status to stakeholders 

In this role, you'll need   

* BSc. or MSc. (Ph.D. - advantage) in Computer science / Electrical engineering / Physics / Mathematics/Bio-medical
* Proven experience in algorithm development and optimization in the field of computer vision or imaging processing/graphics/ AI/ Deep learning
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Strong programming skills in C++.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Fluent in English
