Social Worker MSW

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements comprehensive social work services to patients in the setting to which they are assigned to ensure appropriate and timely discharge planning and provision of services including the social, emotional, economic and environmental needs that may affect the patient's medical condition and/or progress. Exhibits critical thinking skills and applies it for continuous improvement of services. Develops and implements plans of care based on individual identified needs of each patient.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Must hold one of the following License:

* Licensed in Alabama as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW)
* Certified Social Worker (LCSW)
