Overview:
Omni Hotels is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to manage and grow our brand presence across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. This role is ideal for someone who excels in community management, platform administration, and brand strategy. You will be responsible for increasing engagement, managing online communities, supporting our properties, and executing strategies to attract and retain guests.
Location: Position is based onsite at the Omni Corporate Office in Dallas, TX
Responsibilities:
* Platform Administration: Directly manage social media accounts for the Omni Hotels brand, and provide centralized administration (e.g. access, support, best practices) for our Social Media Ambassadors who manage accounts at our 50+ properties.
* Community Management: Monitor and engage with guest comments, messages and reviews to foster a positive online community and enhance customer relationships.
* Influencer Relationships: Work with our agencies to source new influencers and vendors and manage relationships with existing ones. Develop best practices for content creation and strategy, public relations, and influencer/brand partnerships.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track social media metrics, analyze performance, and provide insights to improve engagement, reach, and ROI. Plan and run monthly Social Media Ambassador meetings to share insights and program updates across the brand.
* Cross-Platform Coordination: Work alongside other marketing team members to ensure a cohesive social media strategy across all platforms.
* Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media tools and best practices to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the digital space.
Qualifications:
* A college degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
* Experience with social media platforms, with particular emphasis on Meta (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok and Pinterest
* Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and third-party platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Falcon). Strong understanding of principles such as audience segmentation, engagement/reach, revenue attribution models, and ROI calculations
* Excellent internal and external communication skills. Ability to speak both to guests and to internal stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite
* Prior experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus but not required
