Responsibilities:

* Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino.
* Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
* This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member's are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
* Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
* Comply with all Company and departmental policies, procedures and internal controls.
* Responsible for the repair, maintenance and general operating condition of the slot machines.
* Responsible for the machine initial fills.
* May assist in jackpot payouts and the verification process.
* Responsible for the installation and removal of slot machines.
* Maintain player-tracking system.
* Maintain EZ Pay equipment.
* Responsible for the slot machine maintenance.
* Responsible for trouble shooting system related problems.
* Recall all options on the various games.
* Able to operate laptop for progressive set up.
* Assist senior technician with variances and game moves.
* Assist in the maintenance of Cash/Ticket Machines and Table Game auxiliary equipment.
* All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Some electronics or relative experience
* Must be able to pass Slot Tech II test
* Mechanically inclined
* 1-2 years technician experience.
* Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift. 
* Locations on casino floor are noisy and smoky. 
* Will also encounter intoxicated guests frequently. 
* Provide representation of department in specific project and company meetings.
