Qualifications:
A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a specific site or location.
They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety
regulations. They coordinate and supervise the work of employees, contractors, and subcontractors,
ensuring that tasks are assigned and completed efficiently. Site Supervisors also communicate with
clients, address any concerns or issues, and maintain a positive working relationship with all
stakeholders involved in the project. They may also be responsible for maintaining records, tracking
progress, and reporting to higher-level management.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Acts as the main point of contact for all vendors and contractors working on-site, and coordinates
their schedules, deliveries, and work activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and
specifications.
* Collaborates with vendors and contractors to schedule equipment, materials, and manpower
required for construction activities.
* Ensures that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
* Conducts regular inspections and quality checks on work performed by vendors and contractors
to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
* Enforces safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site
personnel, including vendors and contractors.
* Conducts safety briefings, inspections, and incident reporting as necessary.
* Tracks the progress of work carried out by vendors and contractors, including milestones,
deliverables, and timelines.
* Provides regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the status of work and any
potential delays or issues.
* Acts as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disputes that may arise between different vendors or
contractors on-site.
* Facilitates open communication and collaboration to maintain a harmonious working relationship
among all parties.
* Monitors expenditures related to vendor and contractor services, including material costs, labor
charges, and additional expenses.
* Works closely with the project team to adhere to budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving
opportunities where possible.
* Maintains accurate records of vendor contracts, work orders, invoices, and project
documentation.
* Generates regular reports detailing vendor performance, work progress, and budget utilization for
review by project stakeholders.
* Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School / GED
Experience: 5-8 years
