Responsibilities:

Allied Universal(r) is looking for a Site Supervisor in Montreal. The ideal candidate will oversee site activities, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and foster a productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to make quick and informed decisions, and a commitment to high standards of quality and efficiency.

Title: Site Safety Supervisor (bilingual)

Workplace: Montreal, QC

Position type: Permanent full-time

Salary range: 25.00$to 27.10$

Shift: Monday to Friday

Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Ensure that safety professionals receive the necessary training to develop their technical and professional skills, including performance management activities such as coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance appraisal and recognition.
* Communicate staffing needs to department heads or recruiters, contributing to talent identification and the interview process.
* Advocate for employee feedback by coordinating with the Human Resources and Services Manager or the General Manager.
* Contribute to the dissemination of company policies, advertisements and job offers.
* Promote a respectful work environment.
* Assist the Service Manager in identifying and responding effectively to customer needs.
* Ensure that all contractual hours are met, with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
* Coordinate and/or lead site-specific on-the-job training, customer-specific training and annual refresher courses for safety personnel.
* Reconcile security logs of team and patrol duties; review incident reports prior to submission to Director and coordinate preliminary investigations.
* Carry out account audits and after-hours visits, completing all required paperwork.
* Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles on account, ensuring proper inventory levels and maintenance controls.
* Administer site safety programs that define specific risks for safety managers, including vehicle and driving safety, in accordance with company procedures.
* Prepare for participation in various external meetings.
* Use internal system for scheduling and billing purposes, and prepare reports (such as scheduling activity reports and training details) in accordance with company procedures.
* Implement company policies as described in manuals and memos.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 2 to 3 years supervisory experience
* Must hold a valid Montreal Security Permit (MSP).
* Fluency in spoken and written French and English, with the ability to produce reports and communicate with customers and other stakeholders in both languages, as required by the position.
* Proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, Internet, etc.)
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to identify and solve problems.
* Ability to make sound decisions
* Basic financial and mathematical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external customers.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
* Reliable transportation to work site.
* Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
