Title: Site Security Supervisor Location: Ottawa, ON Rate: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Schedule: Monday to Friday Overview: Allied Universal is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a location in Ottawa, ON. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, capable of working long hours, and adept at managing a dynamic security team. If you have prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high standard of professionalism, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a team of security personnel to ensure effective patrolling and overall site security. * Maintain clear and professional communication with site management and security team members. * Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies. * Coordinate with other team leads to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent security coverage. * Conduct regular patrols and site checks to uphold security standards. * Oversee shift scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all hours, including day and night shifts. Requirements: * 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the security field. * Flexible availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. * Proficiency with technology and wireless communication systems specific to client sites. * Valid Ontario Security License. * Eligibility to work in Canada, up to 40 hours per week. * Certification in First Aid and CPR. * Must be at least 18 years old. * High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or relevant work experience. * Physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 kilograms when needed.
