Overview: This is a provisional appointment. Under the supervision of the Director of Signal Service, this position will be assigned to the Electrical Maintenance Section. Responsibilities: * Responsible for performing skilled electrical repair, maintenance, installation, and alteration of all electrical appliances, equipment, lines, and related accessories, which could be up to 600 volts, in all Boston Police Department Buildings. * Performs related work as required. Qualifications: * Applicants must have a Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician's License and a Valid Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Operator License. * It is strongly preferred that applicants have an F-1 fire alarm license and can work with generators. * Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
