Responsibilities:
Join our team as a Shipping Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently from our facility to customers. This role offers hands-on experience with warehouse systems, logistics coordination, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. You'll be at the center of daily operations-solving problems, improving processes, and helping ensure shipments go out accurately and on time. It's a great opportunity to build logistics expertise and grow within a dynamic distribution setting.
What You'll Do:
* Coordinate outbound shipments using WMS, including carrier check-in, dock assignment, and order verification
* Prepare and manage shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, and manifests
* Communicate with drivers and internal teams to ensure timely loading and resolve scheduling changes
* Assign and support forklift crews with loading, staging, and outbound order tasks
* Track shipping performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous process improvements
Qualifications:
Required:
* High school diploma or GED
* 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Clear written and verbal communication skills across teams
Preferred:
* Experience with WMS or other manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP, MPS)
* Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or beverage industry
* Ability to quickly learn new systems and contribute to process improvements
