Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Support Manager, pack and ship prescriptions following all shipping procedures. Responsibilities: Essential Functions * Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner. * Follow all procedures and each step on the packing and shipping checklist when packaging or shipping an order. * Responsible for stocking freezers with ice packs. * Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA. * Responsible for keeping area clean and adequately stocked with boxes and supplies. * Follow all company policies and procedures. * Responsible for other duties as assigned by Eagle Management. Qualifications: Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: * Preferred, one-year minimum of shipping/receiving experience Skills: * Ability to lift 20lbs. * Ability to work in a standing environment. * Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously. * Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, and management. * Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines. * Ability to perform repetitious work accurately. * Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once. * Attention to detail. Environmental/Working conditions: This position requires prolonged standing. In addition, this position requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including the operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients and employees. This position may be required to work long hours. The expected base pay range for this position is $15-$15.50 per hour. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
