About the role
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer with significant experience on the ServiceNow platform to lead the design, development, and governance of our ServiceNow ecosystem and related systems/integrations. As part of the IT Application Excellence team within Corporate IT, the ServiceNow Developer contributes to the work on highly integrated applications and platforms that drive the business forward. Partnering with other developers and business analysts, you will design and develop new user experiences and create digital solutions to solve challenges within ServiceNow.
As the ServiceNow Developer, you will ensure that business applications meet compliance requirements and provide efficient solutions to team members within Corporate IT on the necessary support and enhancement of our business applications.
Qualifications:
What you will do
* Support the implementation of ServiceNow projects, including enhancements, integrations, fixes, and features, in collaboration with business SMEs, and team members within Solution Architecture and Business Analysis.
* Lead ServiceNow Release Upgrades when needed and coordinate with the organization on the steps/milestones.
* Participate in delivering system testing; configuring, automating, documenting, and performing test cases and test scripts to identify and correct issues or to verify desired functionality.
* Design, develop, and document solutions on new platforms and applications, and support the testing of new features and capabilities on existing applications and platforms, providing best practices and analysis to the rest of the team.
* Contribute to code reviews, adopting and documenting code and configuration management best practices.
* Work in collaboration with your team to deliver projects on Agile methodology.
* Act as the technical subject matter expert on some of the ServiceNow Modules such as:
* HR Service Delivery
* Employee Center Pro
* IT Service Management
* IT Operations Management
* Strategic Portfolio Management
What we are looking for
* Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration activities for below ServiceNow Modules:
* IT Service Management
* HR Service Delivery
* IT Operations Management

* Demonstrative experience in integrations from/to ServiceNow below:
* Jira (Data Center & Cloud)
* DataDog
* SAP SuccessFactors
* Salesforce.com
* Prometheus
* Integration Hub Elements
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including change management expertise and the ability to translate complex, technical requirements for a non-technical audience.
* Strong relationship-building and influencing skills and the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately through a collaborative partnership approach.
* Ability to anticipate technical implications of decisions on platforms and applications, and proactively plan for the future.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy considerations in systems.
* Role Specific Skills and experience:
* Experience consuming and/or creating APIs
* Experience in designing, configuring, supporting, testing, and implementing enhancements as well as supporting maintenance items for various business applications.
* Experience developing test cases and performing all levels of testing and defect management.
* Experience with system/data integration.
* Experience working with ITOM/CMDB is an asset.
* Experience developing with programming languages like C#, Java, PHP, Microsoft.net framework, RESTful and SOAP based API web services and authentication protocols and technologies.
* Experience in Web programming (HTML5, Java script/jQuery, JSON, XML, CSS etc.).
* Experience with SQL server / MySQL, developing stored procedures, complex queries, optimizing queries, designing databases.
* Authentication protocols and technologies such as OAuth, SAML, open ID.
* Expertise developing on specific application platforms supported by the team.
