Overview:
Millrock produces the highest quality, state of the art Freeze Drying Equipment. Service technician must have a drive to support and exceed customer's needs and expectations by putting quality and the customer relationship first. Must troubleshoot high-tech refrigeration and temperature control equipment. In addition, the position will assemble common parts and assemblies. The candidate must have a positive work attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of computers. Refrigeration, brazing, and electrical wiring (high and low voltage) experience a plus.
Salary Description: $22 - $30 / hr.
Responsibilities:
* Interfacing and communicating with customers for training and to resolve operating issues.
* Uses various types of hand tools in electro-mechanical assembly of pharmaceutical equipment, including refrigeration, electrical and control components.
* Uses and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings to identify "best method" type approach to completing tasks.
* Troubleshooting of refrigeration systems and control systems.
* Uses and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
* Self-audits/inspects work prior to completion, using drawings and checklists.
* Final test equipment
* Receiving and shipping of parts and equipment
* In house service and repair with guidance
* Safety and organization awareness
* Ability to assemble refrigeration and electrical systems on new equipment builds with guidance/supervision.
* Charging Caster mounted systems
* Phone Support
* Participate in training to advance and master skills.
* Follow procedures in QAM
* Follow quality oriented processes.
* Maintains information in SugarCRM cases and can analyze and report on issues.
* Ability to perform level 1 troubleshooting. Hands off to Level 2 tech when needed.
Qualifications:
* Universal refrigeration technician certification a plus. EPA 608 certified.
* Strong analytical skills are required.
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of material and electrical schematics.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools.
* Previous experience using fitting equipment (e.g. cutters, wire strippers, crimping tools).
* Ability to perform repairs when directed. Brazing and basic electrical.
* Ability to work directly with customers in the startup or repair of their equipment.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* High School diploma.
