Service Tech Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Primary Function

Tests, calibrates/validates electronic instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Engaged with Quality and Metrology (preferably as a signatory) and accomplished in RF disciplines. Work is typically performed at our premises but the successful candidate will be required to travel onsite for a few weeks at a time at a customer location. Interprets customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals.

* Evaluates assignments and determines actions required
* Tasks involve analysis and new/ customized approaches
* Solves complex problems requiring breadth/ depth of knowledge of repair, calibration, refurbishment and preventative maintenance techniques/equipment, processes
* Service Tech with experience in RF (preferably > 18GHz) and capabilities in metrology (preferably a signatory / performing uncertainty calculations)

* Must also commit to onsite calibration requirements covering a minimum of 10 weeks per year, where you will be at sites in potentially WA, QLD, SA, NSW, NT.

Qualifications:

* Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Typically, minimum of 7 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
* Requires extensive knowledge and skills.
* Accept this role is subject to a Police Check.
* Due to compliance requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Defense Industry Security Program (DISP), this position is primarily open only to Australian citizens willing to be vetted for NV1 Defense Clearance.  Residency and Work Visa do not qualify.
