Overview: Responsibilities: FOUNDATIONAL COMPETENCIES: * Improve product using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Analysis * Improve design using a Design for Ergonomics study * Use value engineering techniques to reduce cost and increase customer value * Conduct 8-Disciplines problem solving process utilizing Is-Is Not and 5 Whys methodologies * Utilize other root cause analysis techniques (e.g. fishbone diagram, cause and effect matrix, etc.) * Analyze a measurement systems using a numerical tools like isoplotting and gage Repeatability and Reproducibility. * Develop complex mathematical representation of a physical system, and use numerical methods to predict expected outcomes * Conduct statistical tolerance stackup analysis using manufacturing capability data * Monitor process capability using Statistical Process Control techniques * Conduct process capability studies * Use value analysis techniques to reduce product and manufacturing costs Qualifications: YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: * 2 - 5 years EDUCATION: * BS in Engineering discipline ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities/task in a fast-paced work environment. * Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required. * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong organizational, time management skills. * Flexibility to work outside normal working hours, as required. * Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC are preferred. * Valid driver's license and safe driving record. * Travel within region as required. * Strong leadership and business acumen. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
