Overview:
Resaurant Server is responsible for serving the restaurant customers promptly
and politely while maintaining a personal appearance suitable to all clientele.
Responsibilities:
1. Reports to work in the proper uniform required by the company
2. Submits Federal Form 4070 each month summarizing tip revenue
3. Serves customers in the following order:
a. Greets the customer promptly and politely seats them
b. Takes the customers beverage order and delivers it
c. Takes the customers food order and suggestive sells
d. Delivers the customer order promptly after preparation is complete
e. Asks the customer if dessert is desired before the check is delivered
f. Buses the table after the custome has left
4. Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu including specials
5. Assist in dishing out food and in serving salads, side dishes and desserts
6. Operation of the precheck system
7. Performs all cleaning duties as assigned
8. Cheerfully handle difficult situations or disgruntled customers
9. Perform additional duties as assigned
