GFT is seeking a Senior OR Principal Project Manager specializing in water conveyance systems to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Texas. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects that enhance regional water infrastructure and community resilience.

What you'll be challenged to do:

GFT is seeking a Senior or Principal Project Manager specializing in water conveyance systems to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Texas. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects that enhance regional water infrastructure and community resilience.
 
As part of GFT's water group, you will manage projects involving large diameter waterlines, transmission mains, and pump station design. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that protect public health and improve quality of life.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Lead planning, design, and delivery of water conveyance projects, focusing on large diameter pipelines.
* Oversee engineering design, permitting, and construction administration.
* Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery.
* Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and client agreements.
* Mentor junior engineers and project managers, fostering professional growth.
* Support business development by identifying opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications:

What you will bring to our firm: 

* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
* Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.
* 15+ years of experience managing water conveyance and utility infrastructure projects.
* Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent communication skills for client presentations, technical reports, and team leadership.
