About the Role
The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. This role designs test plans, procedures, and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance with product requirements and department quality standards. The Senior Test Engineer collaborates with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications, while contributing to the establishment and use of the build pipeline.
Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests, and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of the software
* Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security
* Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; create and manage performance metrics, defects, test cases, and test results within a team
* Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide consulting services leveraging expertise and best practice knowledge; identify and implement improved test tools and automation methodology
* Analyze and report test results and monitor trends over time; provide guidance to teams to continuously improve
* Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on team technical capabilities
Role Essentials - Required Skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Experience with all phases of the test lifecycle and software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks
* Significant experience with test design and test automation and continuous integration tools
* Significant experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and multiple scripting tools
* Significant experience with source control systems and development on Windows/Linux platforms

Pay Transparency (annualy)
Poland: 215,500 - 255,000 PLN gross Italy: 43,800 - 50,400 Euro
