You will solve the critical challenge of evolving our Core Systems Platform from traditional, deterministic API workflows into advanced, AI-ready orchestration layers. By leading the transition from hard-coded sequencing to model-driven automation, you ensure our platform remains at the forefront of the autonomous agent revolution. Your leadership will bridge the gap between complex cloud-native architectures and high-value enterprise workflows, delivering a reliable and secure foundation for our global carrier and OEM partners.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
* Sequence the product roadmap to transition Core Systems from deterministic API workflows to AI-ready orchestration using MCP and UCP standards
* Identify and curate high-value enterprise workflows for autonomous agents, developing the necessary tool schemas and resource definitions for AI-accessible interfaces
* You will lead the architectural evolution from rigid sequencing to probabilistic, model-driven tool selection and context-aware automation
* Design scalable cloud-native architectures for microservices and event-driven workflows on AWS/GCP that align with enterprise reliability goals
* Serve as the primary technical lead for partner integrations with carriers and OEMs, designing universal interfaces that support both REST and AI agent consumers
* Establish robust AI governance and security models, including least-privilege RBAC and human-in-the-loop approvals for auditable compliance
* Implement monitoring frameworks for AI system behavior to ensure operational safety and predictable platform performance
Qualifications:
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)
* Distributed Backend Architecture expertise with a mastery of API design and microservices on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
* AI Orchestration proficiency, specifically involving LLM integration frameworks and emerging standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP)
* Advanced Technical Communication skills required to translate engineering-level documentation-including sequence diagrams and ERDs-into clear executive strategies
* Ecosystem Design mastery for building platform capabilities that support diverse external partner integrations across business and technical units
* Strategic Platform Problem-Solving expertise with the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments with minimal supervision
* AI Governance and Security expertise to implement robust RBAC, auditable lineage, and operational safety for autonomous systems
Additional Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale platform products or complex enterprise integrations in cloud-native environments. You possess a unique ability to navigate both large-scale corporate structures and fast-paced startup ecosystems with agility. We value specific experience in Telecom, Wireless, or MVNO ecosystems, particularly involving 5G, eSIM, and device provisioning integrations.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master's degree in Business or Engineering preferred)
* Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or Solution Architecture
* Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
* API architecture and distributed systems on AWS or GCP
* Designing platform capabilities for external partner ecosystems
* Implementing monitoring frameworks for complex system behavior
