Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to provide administration and tier-3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment. This position will be located in Merrifield, VA, and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities:
Provides administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment, including user account management, Group Policy troubleshooting, and security infrastructure maintenance. Responsibilities include server and backup administration, SCCM and McAfee ePO management, and supporting large-scale deployments and migrations. Develops technical solutions, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with organizational standards for security and system performance.
Additional Azure administrator role:
* In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of cloud computing services, which includes knowing networking, servers, databases, and software in the cloud.
* Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365.
* Expertise PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates for deployments, updates, and maintenance tasks.
* Running virtual machines on the cloud
* Creating and managing data backups
* Ensuring compliances
* Configuring archival storage
* Experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
* Familiar with Azure Policy and RBAC.
* Maintaining and implementing storage solutions
* Securing Azure solutions
* Thorough knowledge of networking tasks along with expertise in the Azure networking stack
* Reducing vulnerabilities in Azure
Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 12+ years administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
* Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of CommVault backup.
* Must have a current REAL ID to be able to obtain required customer facility and system access
