Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies including Lambda, S3, and PostgreSQL. * Support and enhance client-server applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, and SQL Reporting Services. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance. * Provide technical guidance in system architecture, integration, and sustainment of VA billing systems. * Manage source code and version control using GitHub. * Track and manage project tasks and issues using JIRA. * Handle IT service requests and incidents through ServiceNow. * Conduct system performance analysis and optimization. * Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or cloud infrastructure. * Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, and PostgreSQL. * Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, and SQL Reporting Services. * Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and ServiceNow. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and documentation abilities. Preferred: * Experience working with government or healthcare systems. * AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). Education: * Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical disipline or equivalent PLUS 10 Years of experience * Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Clearance: * The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation Location: * Remote, USA * Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CST) Pay Range: * The pay for this position ranges from $52,730 to $72,500 * The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location * Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses * TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
