Overview: Our Wireless Technology organization is transforming the future of connectivity. We're doing it by building the country's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. The foundation of a connected world, it's a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world. Responsibilities: DISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to deploy, maintain, and manage our network infrastructure. You'll work with diverse technologies like Cisco SDNC suite, AWS, VMware, and databases. Responsibilities include system deployment, administration, testing, and ensuring network reliability. Key Responsbilitites: In this role, you will: * Manage AWS infrastructure for network and services * Administer VMware virtualization environments * Utilize Linux and VMware expertise for system operations * Troubleshoot databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, and Redis * Apply networking knowledge for seamless infrastructure communication #LI-LM1 Qualifications: As a successful Senior System Administrator, you will have: Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience Skills and Qualifications: * Proven system engineering and administration experience * 5+ years experience with AWS services, Linux, VMware, and database management * Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills * Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability to new technologies
