Credence has an upcoming need for a Senior Structures Engineer who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance / Special Operation Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The Air Force Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) (AFPEO/WI) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping our war-fighters to win the fight. Responsibilities: * Provide structural engineering support to design, develop, manufacture, integrate, test, and deploy structural components to airborne weapon systems. Support will extend to static, dynamic, Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT), vibration, and acoustic design and analysis of all aero-related elements of airborne systems as well as any shipping and ground support equipment. * Assist in defining and maintaining technical processes, identifying technical requirements, and support structural development to meet user needs in the areas of primary aircraft structure, non-primary aircraft structure, and airworthiness compliance. * Apply systems engineering processes related to system requirements, structural modifications, metric and requirements development and traceability, functional and physical allocations, program protection elements, entry and exit criteria development for technical reviews, configuration audits, logical analysis, design solution and implementation, interface and interoperability integration, and test verification and validation. * Draft documentation support to conduct reviews and studies, document performance requirements, and support structural modifications for system level integration. * Support structural aspects of the airborne weapon system to ensure the application of the following: systems integration; interface management; test; reliability and maintainability; accreditation and certification; technology transfer; manufacturing readiness; and ESOH processes are IAW DoDI 6055.05 and AFI 48-145 policies and standards, and airworthiness compliance. * Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of technical processes relating to structures that are designed to develop and sustain products acquired while ensuring safe operation and maintenance of systems and forces, including assistance with 107s/Technical Assistance Requests (TARs). * Provide technical support to design, develop, manufacture, integrate, test, and deploy airborne weapon systems and the sustainment of said weapon systems through the support of Deficiency Reports (DRs) and Material Improvement Project Review Boards (MIPRBs). * Provide draft documentation support to define and maintain technical processes, identify current and future structural needs, and support structural developments to satisfy user needs. * Assist the Government by providing knowledge, guidance, and producing artifacts to support systems integration; OSS airworthiness certification per the latest version of MIL-HDBK-516; safety per MIL-STD-882; and DAFI 63-1201 Life Cycle Systems Engineering. Qualifications: * Clearance: Top Secret * Master's degree and ten (10) years of experience, five (5) of which must be in DoD or, * Bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience, five (5) of which must be in DoD or, * Fifteen years (15) of relevant work experience, eight (8) of which must be in DoD
