Join us as Senior Market Development Specialist and make a significant impact!

Reporting to the Director Market Development the Market Development Senior Specialist will plan programs and participate in field events to support sales growth for Shure products in targeted market segments in Germany. This role will be responsible for collecting customer leads and useful feedback on Shure products, programs, and services. The position is based in North/Northeast Germany (ideally Berlin).

Responsibilities:

* Driving market development for Conferencing/Integrated Systems by identifying, evaluating and prioritizing market leads and opportunities to reach potential new customers. 
* Developing and providing product presentations and solution demonstrations for consultants and end users to increase awareness, understanding of the benefits of Shure's product categories. 
* In cooperation with Sales Managers, building and maintaining long-term relationships with end users, consultants and System integrators to support sales growth in the targeted market segments. 
* Scheduling, coordinating, and conducting training sessions to educate consultants on product benefits and sales techniques, as well as monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of education/training efforts within the German market. 
* Providing support and input to Product Marketing and Product Planning on Shure's product lines - including forecasts and pipeline information. 
* Monitoring on-line forums as well as competitive activity - from a product and market development standpoint - and reporting on items of interest to Shure. 

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 years of work experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products. 
* Thorough understanding of industry practices, workflow and terminology. Background or experience within Audio Visual Integration, Video Conferencing, Unified Communication, and related fields is preferred. 
* Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to create solutions for difficult assignments of diverse scope. 
* Ability to handle multiple assignments and to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors and adapt as needed. 
* Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and a CRM tool (ideally Salesforce) distinguishes you. Experience drafting Programs and Audio DSP Platform Competencies are a plus. 
* Detail oriented, well-organized, good time management skills, and able to work independently.
