Job Summary:
Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager, the Senior Specialist provides business services independently for the firm's more complex clients, ensuring delivery is timely, accurate and serves the client's needs in accordance with company policies and procedures.

* Manage billing, collections, and accounts receivable activities for healthcare clients, ensuring timely claim submission, follow-up, and payment resolution.
* Analyze aging reports, denials, and reimbursement trends to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing communication, status updates, and revenue cycle support.
* Prepare, review, and reconcile complex billing transactions, reports, and client deliverables while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Support outsourced revenue cycle engagements, including billing, collections, payer follow-up, and operational workflows.
* Collaborate with domestic and offshore team members to deliver high-quality client service and meet engagement objectives.
* Utilize EHR systems, payer portals, clearinghouses, and Microsoft tools to manage revenue cycle operations and reporting.
* Provide technical guidance to clients and team members on billing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle best practices.
* Ensure adherence to firm policies, quality standards, deadlines, and budget expectations while managing multiple client engagements.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle, billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience.
* Experience working with hospitals, physician groups, rural health clinics, FQHCs, behavioral health organizations, or similar healthcare providers.
* Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and healthcare reimbursement processes.
* Experience using EHR systems, billing software, clearinghouses, and payer portals.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or similar healthcare systems.
* Experience with denial management, root cause analysis, and revenue cycle process improvement.
* Previous client-facing or healthcare consulting experience.
