Responsibilities:

Senior Software Engineer sought by DISH Wireless in Littleton, CO  

Work within an agile delivery team to create and customize applications on Cloud native wireless platforms. Help implement an Enterprise Cloud Architecture to power, deploy and operationalize our microservices, COTS products, and custom applications. Provide hands-on experience with Cloud native architecture, CICD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Security, Networking, Observability, and Distributed Tracing. Set up the development environment for spring boot, nodeJs, python, etc. Implement Producers confluent Kafka libraries and publish events. Implement producer Encryption libraries for CPNI, PCI, and PII. Implement Producer topic/event ordering and guaranteed delivery based on the use case. Implement common consumers to read data from KAFKA Partitions based on the needs they can be domain specifics. Implement consumer Encryption libraries for CPNI, PCI, and PII. Update replicator configuration and update code for filtering. Monitor and set up alerts for consumer, producer, and replicators. Program with Streaming platforms Confluent/Kafka. Use KSQL to filter and republish stream data. Confluent/AWS MSK Kafka Security (SSL SASL Kerberos ACL). Topic and partition governance. AVRO Schema preparation Serialization and updates. Ongoing producer, consumer, and replicator creation and updates. Observability improvements for the workloads based on the needs. Use and implement Kafka Connectors with various sources of data. Database Integration - both as source and sink. Confluent/Kafka configuration for offset and other parameters.

Qualifications:

Requires: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field plus 4 years of experience in job offered or Software Test Engineer, or similar roles. Also requires 4 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

* AWS MSK/Apache Kafka/Confluent Kafka, Kafka and streaming internals, Java, Spring Boot and similar technologies;
* AWS technologies ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Terraforms and Kafka;
* oAuth and SSO/SAML; 
* Junit and Mocit;
* Service orchestration and messaging technology;
* Kafka Governance; and
* Agile development methodologies.
