Are you comfortable designing database architectures, automating processes, and optimizing SQL Server platforms in complex environments? We are seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA to manage, optimize, and ensure the availability and performance of our database environments. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and support business-critical systems across on-premises and cloud platforms. What you will do: * Manage, monitor, and maintain SQL Server environments ensuring high availability and performance. * Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On, clustering, replication). * Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools. * Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning. * Manage database security, backups, patching, and upgrades. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, with solid experience as a Senior DBA in SQL Server environments. Strong expertise in high availability configurations, database architecture, and performance optimization. Experience in automation using PowerShell or similar tools. Proven experience managing database engines and ensuring operational stability. * Desirable knowledge in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and other database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Relevant certifications in SQL Server or cloud platforms are a plus. * Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in high-impact environments. Demonstrates ownership, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
