This Global Function within Waters Division integrates the former Commercial Operations, Demand Generation teams, including the current Digital COE team. Commercial Excellence will ensure a rigor grounded in strong leadership and industry-leading expertise in commercial processes and systems that maximize the consistency, productivity, and effectiveness of business operations. Commercial Excellence will also effectively identify new customers, connect their needs to Waters solutions while enabling a best-in-class customer journey.

We are seeking a Senior SAP VC/AVC Modeler to join our Wexford, Ireland team. You will be instrumental in constructing, refining, and improving our product configuration models within SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Your role will directly support product commercialisation, engineering change management, and scalable business operations.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
* Build and maintain advanced VC/AVC models using constraint-based logic, class hierarchies, and dependencies.
* Collaborate with product management, engineering, IT, and master data teams to align configuration with business needs.
* Configure BOMs and routings to support product enablement and commercialisation.
* Develop characteristics, classes, profiles, procedures, and pricing strategies.
* Integrate VC with SAP SD pricing and lead testing across unit, integration, and UAT phases.
* Drive engineering change requests and commercialisation workflows for quoting and fulfilment.
* Continuously improve model performance, usability, and maintainability.
* Monitor configuration performance and implement improvements to streamline sales order entry.
Qualifications:
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
* Proven practical SAP VC/AVC modeling experience (ECC or S/4HANA).
* Strong analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable configuration models.
* Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
* Experience with SAP PLM, MM, ECM, CPQ, and product master data.
* Familiarity with regulated industries like life sciences or manufacturing is a plus.
* Self-starter with a collaborative spirit.
