				Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Marketing Manager to lead marketing for the DACH region, with Germany as the primary focus. You will own end-to-end regional marketing, including localisation, website strategy, PR, and go-to-market execution. The focus is drive both new customer acquisition and expansion within the existing customer base.

You will have a deep understanding of the German market. It also requires experience in marketing tax, compliance, finance, or regulated SaaS solutions. Additionally, the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and global marketing teams is necessary.

You will report to the Senior Director of International Marketing and work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & New Customer Acquisition (DACH)

* Own and execute the DACH demand generation strategy, with a focus on Germany.
* Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns (digital, ABM, events, webinars, partners) that generate qualified pipeline.
* Align closely with regional sales teams to support territory plans and key accounts.
* Tailor global campaigns for local relevance, regulatory context, and buyer expectations in DACH.
* Drive awareness and demand for Avalara's tax and compliance solutions in a complex, regulation-driven market.

Localisation, Website & Content Ownership

* Own localisation strategy for the DACH region across campaigns, website, sales enablement, and customer communications.
* Act as the regional voice, feeding DACH insights back into global product and marketing teams.

PR, Communications & Brand Building (DACH)

* Lead regional PR and communications efforts, including agency management where applicable.
* Support thought leadership initiatives around tax compliance, regulatory change, and digital transformation.
* Strengthen Avalara's brand presence and credibility in Germany and the wider DACH market.

Customer Advocacy & References

* Identify and develop customer advocates for case studies, testimonials, references, and events.
* Build local customer stories that resonate with regional prospects and partners.
* Support user groups, roundtables, and advisory initiatives to deepen customer engagement.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Reporting

* Work closely with regional sales leadership, SDRs, customer success, and global marketing teams.
* Track performance using Salesforce (SFDC) and marketing automation platforms.
* Report on pipeline impact, campaign effectiveness, and regional performance with clear insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

* 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, within SaaS, FinTech, tax, compliance, or regulated industries.
* Knowledge of the German and DACH market, including buyer behavior and regulatory context.
* Experience owning regional marketing end-to-end, including localisation and PR.
* Experience analysing and reporting on campaign data, with experience using Power BI (PBI) or equivalent tools to track performance, pipeline impact, and ROI.
* Comfortable managing multi-channel campaigns across digital, ABM, lifecycle, and partner marketing.
* Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and regional leadership teams.
* Comfortable operating in complex, regulation-driven environments and translating compliance topics into clear, compelling marketing messages.
* Experience in demand generation, ABM, customer lifecycle marketing, and partner marketing.
* Fluency in German and English.
