Responsibilities:
GFT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Asset Management and Resilience team to provide market and technical leadership for infrastructure asset management. This position has a national focus. The option exists to work fully remote with some travel or to work from one of our many locations with a flexible/hybrid schedule, based in one of our larger offices including New York, New Jersey, the DC Metro Area, Chicago, Philadelphia, South Florida, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

What you'll be challenged to do:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead consulting engagements, providing technical leadership and quality assurance for infrastructure asset management projects, deploying GFT's SMEs to provide expertise on a national level with clients in the Transit, Transportation, or Utility markets. Engagements will include asset management assessments, gap analysis and roadmap development, service level development, asset management policy and organizational structure, asset hierarchy and data evaluations, asset risk planning, developing SOPs for risk-based maintenance and whole lifecycle management, condition assessment planning, strategies for optimized operations and maintenance, capital plan development and prioritization including business case development, strategic plan development, business optimization, and project management.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing expertise and leadership in a risk-based asset management program to achieve optimum bottom-line results.
* Lead or assist in the pursuit of projects in collaboration with internal partners and stakeholders.
* Develop lifecycle planning and cost/risk optimization for assets.
* Update and enhance asset management processes and procedures.
* Deploy new processes, methods, and technologies to increase reliability.
* Align asset management plans with client business objectives and organizational strategy.
* Collaborate with leadership on the development and implementation of best practices and tools that provide for the continuous improvement of the management consulting practice.
* Program and portfolio project management responsibility for asset management regionally/nationally depending on experience.
* Lead projects and project teams, including contract, subcontractor, and vendor relationship management.
Qualifications:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Policy, Planning, Economics, or a related discipline
* 12+ years of professional experience in the infrastructure sector, with
* 5+ years in asset lifecycle planning and cost/risk optimization
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels within a client organization
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a dynamic team environment
* Self-starter with the capacity and ability for integrated thinking and task prioritization
* Ambition for rapid advancement and the desire to take on leadership roles in a capital improvement program
What we prefer you bring:
* Master's degree in Economics, Civil Engineering, Planning, Public Administration, Transportation Planning, or related fields
* Familiarity with standard transportation planning requirements and practices
* Understanding of standard financial modeling practices
* Proficiency in condition inspection technologies and workflow management enabled by asset management information systems used in the transit sector
* Awareness of PAS 55 and ISO 55001
* Background in MS Access, ArcGIS, and/or enterprise asset management software (e.g., Maximo, Hexagon, Trapeze, AssetWorks, etc.) systems
* Ability to manage and transform large datasetsInstitute of Asset Management certification
