Responsibilities:
At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a Senior Process Architect to join our team out of our office located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What You'll Do
* Assess the requirements of a project, break projects into tasks, and work with Project Managers to determine the scope of work, budget, and staffing.
* Write the scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meeting with the client.
* Participates in proposal presentations.
* Interact and communicate with clients and participate actively in industry organizations and related initiatives.
* Works with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes.
* Assign and review the work of the project design team.
* Review contractor application for payments and have a thorough understanding of the construction process.
* Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
* Promote the use of and participate in the development of IPS design and production standards.
* Assists in the education and development of design staff and functions as a resource for design questions.
Qualifications:
* Substantial architectural design experience in the Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Cell & Gene Therapy, Laboratories, Plasma Processing) industries.
* Experience with project scope development, programming, conceptual design, pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, material and personnel flow development, material and system evaluation, detail design, and construction administration.
* Degree educated in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited University.
* Experience in Facility Master Planning.
* The ability to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts.
* Knowledge of applicable building codes.
* Autodesk Revit drawing experience.
