Responsibilities:
Are you an accomplished higher education consultant with deep expertise in Student Information Systems? Do you thrive on leading teams and delivering transformative solutions that drive student success? If so, Ellucian invites you to join our APAC Professional Services team as a Senior Principal Consultant.
In this senior leadership role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to higher education institutions, guiding them through complex Ellucian Student SIS implementations and upgrades. You will manage and mentor a team of consultants, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and play a pivotal role in advancing our cloud and SaaS adoption initiatives across the region. Your strategic insight, operational leadership, and commitment to client outcomes will directly impact our customers' ability to modernize and excel.
Where you will make an impact
* Lead consulting engagements for Ellucian Student implementations and upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for APAC consulting delivery, overseeing all client requirements and coordinating cross-functional teams.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client success and continuous improvement.
* Build, maintain, and enhance consulting artefacts, templates, and presentations to support regional SaaS delivery services.
* Provide strategic direction and mentorship on implementation strategies, industry best practices, and adoption of global delivery methodologies.
* Promote and ensure the adoption of global best practices in functional consulting across the APAC region.
* Facilitate effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to executive leadership.
* Oversee client relationship management, proactively addressing issues and driving resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Support business process reviews, requirements gathering, and change management initiatives to maximize the value of Ellucian solutions.
* Collaborate closely with Cloud Services and Software Development teams to localize enablement requirements and drive best practices across SaaS solution value chains.
* Represent Ellucian at industry events, participate in company-wide initiatives, and contribute to internal process improvement.
* Pre-sales support to scoping and pricing services outcomes
What you will bring
* Minimum 15 years' experience in consulting services, with at least 10 years in higher education student business office roles.
* Extensive hands-on experience with Ellucian Student SIS modules (enrollment, curriculum, records, registration, liability, scholarships) or similar platforms.
* Proven ability to manage and lead consulting teams, including performance management and professional development.
* Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
* Strong understanding of student lifecycle processes and business office operations in higher education.
* Demonstrated expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and client communication (verbal and written).
* Experience delivering training, facilitating workshops, and presenting to diverse audiences.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, balancing hands-on chargeability with leadership responsibilities.
* Experience working independently and remotely, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to travel across the APAC region as required.

* Accountable for all aspects of service delivery for Ellucian Student solutions in APAC, including driving delivery improvement and customer engagement.
* Ensure achievement of customer satisfaction, project success, and utilization targets through proactive leadership and execution.
* Identify and remediate barriers to customer success, driving innovative strategies for SaaS implementation and adoption.
* Continuously enhance the customer experience by collaborating with regional and global Ellucian teams.
* Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing consulting teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery and practice adoption.
