Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Update and maintain network diagrams.
* Configure all network devices (Cisco routers, switches, WiFi access points, WiFi controllers) to ensure STIG/SRG compliance.
* Configure all network devices for reliable day-to-day operations.
* Configure and manage VPN access on firewalls.
* Configure and manage Cisco Firepower.
* Troubleshoot operational outages and restore connectivity.
* Open and manage Cisco TAC cases as needed.
* Open and manage VMware TAC cases as needed.
* Collaborate with on-premises teams to isolate and resolve technical issues.
* Implement remediation recommendations to restore or enhance network performance.
* Perform Cisco firmware and operating system upgrades.
* Support Cisco VoIP configuration and implementation.
* Assist with tech refreshes for end-of-life equipment.
* Configure all virtual machines and on-prem servers to be compliant with STIG/SRG settings.
* Manage day-to-day server operations including DHCP, Radius, and ICE.
* Complete STIG reviews and create STIG checklists.
* Manage, configure, and secure Cisco wireless controllers and access points.
* Provide reports and listings of issues to the ISO/ISSO upon request.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience:
* Minimum five (5) years of experience in IT network engineering or systems administration
* Knowledge of STIG Viewer and other STIG compliance tools
* Experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework)
* Proficiency with VMWare, vCenter, and ESXi
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS
* In-depth knowledge of Cisco configurations:
* Firewalls, Firepower, switches, servers
* Wireless APs/controllers, DHCP, Radius, Cert Auth, LDAP, VPN
* Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements and protocols
* Certifications:
* CCNA Certification
* Clearance:
* Must possess a Secret clearance
