About the Team Join a dynamic, cross-functional team of 12 skilled professionals passionate about solving complex challenges in backend development, DevOps, and test automation. Our team collaborates closely across disciplines-backend, frontend, DevOps, and open-source technologies-to build scalable, containerized solutions that support automated testing of both hardware and software at scale. About the Role We are looking for a talented and motivated .NET Backend Engineer with DevOps experience to help build and scale our internal Test Automation Cloud platform. You'll work on a distributed system built with modern .NET, deployed via Docker, and integrated with tools such as NATS.io for messaging, PostgreSQL for storage, and Apache Superset for visualization. You'll influence architecture, performance optimization, and the reliability of a high-impact, internal developer platform used across Keysight. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services using modern C#/.NET (6 or newer) * Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose * Integrate services with PostgreSQL and manage relational data effectively * Implement distributed messaging using NATS.io or similar technologies * Contribute to DevOps tasks, including service orchestration, configuration, and CI/CD pipelines * Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews and technical planning Qualifications: Required Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent * Proven hands-on experience in backend development with C# and modern .NET * Solid working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose * Proficiency in Git and version control best practices * Experience with message bus systems (e.g., NATS, RabbitMQ, Kafka) * Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS * Familiarity with Linux-based environments Desired Qualifications * Experience deploying services with Kubernetes, Helm, or similar orchestration tools * Exposure to GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and Superset * Background in test automation infrastructure * Knowledge of monitoring/observability best practices * Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and engineering excellence * Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments Careers Privacy Statement ***Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.***
