Responsibilities: * Inspects and performs minor maintenance and repair of electrical wiring circuits and equipment including pneumatic tube system. * Inspects and performs minor maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. * Inspects and performs minor maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. * Inspects and performs all phases of maintenance, renovations new construction and repair to the building systems in accordance with manufacturers specifications and established practices. * Reads and interprets construction blueprints, manufacturer's instructions to construct and/or assemble or install new equipment. * Observes and adheres to safety and other regulations and practices and contributes to a positive work climate and overall team effort of the department. To include lock-out/tag-out, confined space and MRI safety. * Performs other duties as assigned, including responding to all codes and assisting in enforcing Hospital security rules and policies regarding restraints. * Completes all safety educational requirements. Qualifications: Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
