Responsibilities:

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

Join our MarTech team to lead operations and implementation support for our marketing technology stack at Sling and DISH Marketing. You'll own the day-to-day coordination of our MarTech platforms, working across business and technical teams to gather requirements, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless platform operations.

Your first priority will be supporting our in-progress implementations of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA): capturing and documenting business requirements from channel leads, defining data integration needs, and handing off clear specifications to our IT partners. For CJA specifically, you'll also build and validate dashboards to ensure reporting meets business needs. 

Beyond implementation work, you'll also help manage the operational side of our MarTech function-tracking budgets, coordinating vendor relationships, managing contracts and renewals, and ensuring our ad platforms are properly set up with conversion feedback loops to help support campaign attribution and optimization.

You'll serve as a central point of contact between marketing teams who need capabilities and the technical teams who deliver them. We'll teach you the specifics of our stack and how everything connects. You bring strong experience with relevant tech platforms, requirements-gathering skills, hands-on analytics platform experience, budget management capabilities, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead requirements gathering for Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) implementations: partner with channel leads to capture business needs, document specifications, and hand off clear requirements to IT partners for technical execution

* Build, test, and validate CJA dashboards and reports to ensure they answer business questions accurately. Define requirements for ingesting additional data sources (paid media platforms, CRM data, etc.) into CJA for analysis

* Manage website tracking and pixel/event forwarding implementations: document requirements for new pixels (TikTok, Meta, etc.), coordinate with IT for Adobe Launch and/or Adobe CDP implementation, and validate tracking is working correctly in test and production environments

* Oversee MarTech budget operations: process purchase orders, track invoices and billing, manage contract renewals and agreements, and maintain accurate financial records for all platforms

* Serve as day-to-day vendor liaison: coordinate with platform vendors on support issues, renewals, and operational needs while partnering with leadership on strategic relationship management

* Plan and document data flows between marketing systems: identify integration needs, define technical requirements, and work with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data movement across platforms

* Create and maintain documentation (platform guides, process workflows, requirements templates) so teams understand how to request capabilities and IT knows how to deliver them

* Partner with channel leads (SEO, paid media, eCommerce, strategy, device, go-to-market) to understand their evolving needs and translate them into actionable MarTech requirements

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field 
* 5-7 years in digital analytics, marketing ops, paid media, ecommerce, or a similar analyst role

Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills: ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications that IT and vendor partners can execute against

* Hands-on experience with a web analytics platform (Adobe Analytics, CJA, Google Analytics/GA4, or similar) - comfortable building dashboards, defining metrics, creating segments, and validating data accuracy

* Working knowledge of marketing technology ecosystems: understanding how platforms connect (analytics, tag management, CDPs, marketing automation, ad platforms) and what's technically feasible

* Understanding of advertising platform pixels/tags and data layers to document tracking requirements clearly. Ability to validate tracking implementations in test and production environments

* Experience working across technical and business teams: translating between marketing stakeholders who need capabilities and IT/development teams who build them

* Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams, keep stakeholders aligned, and drive projects to completion

Nice to Haves:

* Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, Tealium, or similar

* Hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

* Experience managing MarTech budgets, vendor relationships, or platform operations (tracking expenses, processing invoices, managing contracts)

* Basic SQL for data validation and troubleshooting

* Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Braze, etc.)

* Experience with A/B testing and personalization tools (Adobe Target, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield)

* Exposure to data integration patterns and APIs
