Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
* Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax estimates, extensions, and returns.
* Prepare and review monthly tax provision and presentation entries.
* Prepare and review ASC 740 workpapers, including current and deferred tax calculations and footnote disclosures.
* Conduct tax research and stay current on new tax legislation.
* Respond to tax notices and assist with audit inquiries.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support tax-related needs.
* Prepare and review tax depreciation schedules for assigned taxpayers.
* Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 tax professionals.
* Coordinate with external tax advisors and vendors on projects including year-end provision, financial statement reporting, and tax return preparation.
* Assist with planning and integration of OneSource Tax Provision software.
* Identify and implement best practices and process improvements in tax provision and compliance.
* Support tax integration efforts for newly acquired entities.
* Provide State Annual Report information to the Legal team.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* CPA certification highly preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in tax accounting.
* Experience in a mid-sized public company or accounting firm is strongly preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP tax reporting.
* Proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision software is highly preferred.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to lead and develop a team.
* Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
