Responsibilities:

* Lead and mentor a team of operations / system engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, rigorous attention to detail, and continuous improvement
* Oversee the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and optimization of core infrastructure services supporting Enterprise File Transfer
* Design, implement, and maintain highly available / resilient enterprise file transfer solutions, with a preference for experience in Globalscape and MOVEit environments
* Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure system reliability, stability, and compliance, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and documentation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply structured critical thinking to drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions
* Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, SOX)
* Automate workflows using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades
* Familiarity with PGP encryption and key management systems

Qualifications:

* 7+ years in IT operations, 2+ years in leadership
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and structured problem-solving in high pressure environments
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all technical and operational deliverables
* Hands-on EFT architecture experience
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
* Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability
* Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism
* Team player / team leadership
* Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation as the escalation point for issues
* Vendor relationship management
