Overview:
The Global Supply Planning Team is responsible for translating the regional demand streams into an
executable supply plan. The Team works closely with our supplier(s) to provide a forecast
and ensure timely delivery of goods into the regional distribution centers. Supply requirements are
moderated by the Team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand
requirements relative to; product lifecycle, inventory on order and in transit, finished goods and inventory
quality. Decisions regarding whether a SKU is a BTS, BTO or CTO are made by the Team.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review vendor created requirements and design specifications to ensure fit for purpose.
* Engage Business SMEs to gather and derive business and system requirements and translate them into functional - technical specifications.
* Apply cross-functional business processes, identify fit gaps and propose remediation.
* Design specific strategy and solutions to meet project deliverables.
* Oversee and problem solve system issues in respective applications portfolio to determine the best course of action.
* Lead business process documentation and identify areas for process improvement opportunities. Review planning requirements; understands drivers behind net changes.
* Prepares supply chain plans.
* Drive 3rd party commit rates and on time shipment improvements.
* Escalate shortages
* Mitigates constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, expediting, etc. recommend or place purchase orders. Drive process improvement projects; evaluates and recommends complex and best in class supply chain solutions.
* Negotiate with suppliers, work with key suppliers in order to resolve problems, network with
key contacts outside of own expertise
* Develop resolutions where analysis of situation or data requires an in-dept evaluation of variable factors.
* Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a
section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing including workforce and succession planning.
* Responsible for the training, development, and management of talent within organization.
* Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
* Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements
* Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established policies
* Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and/or peer group managers; often must
lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
Job Requirements
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline required.
Preferred Work Experience (years): Bachelor's degree and 12 or more years of experience.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Wide, solid breadth in Materials management experience including Purchasing, Planning (Strategic & Tactical) and Manufacturing.
* Excellent analytical skills required relative to data mining and process development/improvement
* Strong experience creating and maintaining process
* International Supply chain experience is a must
* Contract Manufacturing experience is a plus
* Direct manufacturing experience in the electronics industry is a plus
* In-depth Oracle experience is preferred.
