Overview
As the Strategy Sales Leader, the role focuses on developing growth and defence strategies & visions for the APAC region. Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise, identifies subject matter experts or multi-functional stakeholders to identify, interpret and produce proposals based on company and external data analysis. Provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Cooperate with the Regional Sales Leaders and Product management Team to implements strategic and operational market planning tools, drive strategic planning activities by aiming at top geographies or segments (entry, growth and diversification) as well as increase market coverage and address specific market issues.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Development and Planning:
* Provide direction to build winning strategies related to go-to-market, competitive environment & offerings through data analysis and drive implementations to obtain planned outcome.
* Develop and deliver consistently relevant market & metrics to sustain decision making on those areas
* Contribute to country and account planning as required & act as a consultant for Sales Leaders to develop pertinent growth and defence strategies.
* With the support of distribution & product marketing teams put in place and execute required profiling and planning activities. Profiling typically covers environmental scan (demographics, political, economics, technologies, regulatory), market segmentation, market sizing and prioritization, competition, G2M. Country planning activities implies to validate workable strategic options and drive EA regional sales management and business development team to establish the relevant country strategy and planning of execution. Planning phase typically include Scenario planning, Gap analysis, go to market models including key account and local/regional partnerships,
* Prepare presentation on market planning to Sales leaders and Executive leadership.
* Support management on corporate presentations including APAC regional business review and annual strategy planning cycles.
Strategy Planning
Develop and implement strategic planning processes at regional level and cooperate with Global Strategy and Business Units
Strategic projects
Address top GTM issues identified through the yearly strategic process. Build up the adequate virtual team, conduct the relevant analysis and provide value added response to staff. Steps include: problem definition, research, root cause analysis, strategic options, recommendations and action plan
Qualifications:
* Minimum bachelor's degree
* Min 8 years' experience, with management consulting background preferred
* Keen sense of business and financial acumen
* Excellence in communications across all levels and regions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Pro-activeness in identification of problem or growth areas, from developing recommendations to implementation
* Strong proficiency in presentation skills and ability to work in fast-paced dynamic environments
