About this opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing for the EMEA AFAB site. Senior Facility Maintenance Manager for the coordination and supervision of the maintenance and facility activities within the EMEA AFAB site.
In this role, you will
* Directly supervises the maintenance and facility team, setting effective direction and goals, prioritization, and team management, ensuring established objectives are achieved. As well as setting training plans of the team to ensure right development according to the needs.
* Follow on internal Align Technology rules and regulations contained in the different SOPs and WI.
* Own and coordinate in all work related projects where facilities and maintenance work is required.
* Coordinate actions to constantly optimize and reduce the energy and utility usage in the facility.
* Oversees the attendance of all personal under his responsibility and the optimum use all of a material used in facilities and maintenance jobs;
* Prepare budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing. Having a keen eye on budgets and budgetary changes.
* Responsible for sourcing all material needed for building repairs, installations and all Jobs described above, and to work with purchasing to complete the purchase and timely availability.
* Identifies, plans, and coordinates all activities of all personnel under the position's responsibility by establishing and preventive maintenance program that includes but is not limited to the building and its services.
* Responsible for all corrective and preventive work for the building and its services and corrective work to maintain the Fire systems in optimum conditions.
* Responsible to coordinate the receipt, storage and process of all building maintenance requests from all other departments.
* Develop work plans to meet deadlines requested by all other departments.
* Responsible to safeguard all equipment and tools under his and his personnel responsibility.
* Directly supervises the maintenance team, providing effective direction, prioritization, and team management, ensuring established objectives are achieved.
* Coordinates and oversees the maintenance activities, including calibrations, PM's, process validations, loop checks, shift to shift handoffs and equipment failure troubleshooting.
* Analyzes the Top equipment failures. Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.
* Works with Engineering and Production to perform analyses of assets.
* Ensures that maintenance process is compliant from a Regulatory standpoint. This includes adherence to Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
* Responsible for personal safety and safety of others.
* Familiarity with Automation, PLC, Electrical and mechanical maintenance processes.
* Provide coverage and resource backup to fellow Technicians and Technical Engineers.
In this role, you'll need
* At least Diploma in any Engineering field or Equivalent such as mechatronic, mechanical or electrical engineering.
* At least 10+ years experience in similar position in manufacturing plant, preferred medical or automotive sector.
* Excellent communication abilities in English and communication abilities.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
* Knowledge and experience of high and low pressure compressed air equipment and systems, DI/RO systems, water-cooled HVAC systems, FM Global compliant fire systems is desirable and manufacturing techniques.
* Handling of relationship with Government agencies.
* High Lean standards understanding and mindset.
* Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and CFDA regulations.
* Knowledge of tendering process of the systems above and construction projects.
* Managing 24X7 operations desirable.
* Ability to implement improvements to the maintenance and facility process.
* Management of Facility services
* High level of Problem solving methodology
* Capacity for involvement in all problems of quality and production of the plant.
* Ability to handle Microsoft Office computer packages and communication systems Electronics, finance, human resources and materials.
* Ability to coordinate, follow up and implement projects in the manufacturing and facility area.
* Lean Six-Sigma certification (Green belt minimum, Black Belt is a plus).
* Open minded, stress resistant person.
* Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

* Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
