* Lead client advisory engagements at a CFO-level, delivering strategic financial insights and operational guidance.
* Drive change management initiatives to modernize service delivery through technology, standardized processes, and best practices.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives by understanding their business goals and delivering tailored solutions.
* Oversee multiple client teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting engagements.
* Analyze financial performance, including KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and cash flow.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., revenue cycle, payroll, cost reporting) to deliver integrated client solutions.
* Develop client budgets and forecasts, offering consultative support on financial planning and strategy.
* Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to venture-backed and private equity-owned technology companies, partnering with founders, executives, Boards, and investors to deliver financial insights supporting capital strategy, growth planning, and scalability.
* Lead investor-facing financial reporting and analysis, including board materials, KPIs, covenant reporting, runway analysis, and variance‑to‑plan explanations.
* Support high-growth and transactional activity-including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises, and rapid expansion initiatives-advising on integration, finance infrastructure scaling, cash flow, and working capital management.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* CPA required.
* 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or industry roles supporting technology, venture-backed, or private equity-owned companies.
* Demonstrated experience operating in fast-growth, deadline-driven environments, with comfort managing complexity and ambiguity.
* Prior exposure to M&A transactions, capital raises, audits, or investor reporting strongly preferred.
* Experience working directly with venture capital or private equity firms is preferred.
* Exposure to SaaS, software services, or technology-enabled business models is preferred.
* Prior experience supporting companies through first audit, Series B-D scaling, or PE platform build is preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct, including revenue recognition modules; experience scaling systems alongside company growth.
* Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and audit readiness; ability to identify and flag technical accounting considerations without slowing momentum.
* Proven ability to lead distributed teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders.
* Strong project management, executive presence, and client relationship skills with a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
