Responsibilities:

As our Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and replacing hospital equipment as directed on work requests, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our facilities.

Every day, you will perform routine maintenance on essential hospital systems, including Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds, HVAC, and Refrigeration, utilizing your expertise to prevent failures and address issues. You will also provide crucial support for other Maintenance personnel as required, sharing your knowledge and assisting with complex tasks. Your work is foundational to the operational readiness and safety of the entire hospital environment.

To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Technician, with a proven track record of maintaining diverse hospital equipment and systems. You will demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, coupled with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

* Completes work requisitions assigned. Repairs, installs, replaces, and makes changes only as directed on work requests or as directed by supervisor/manager
* Completes Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work requests as assigned (training and/or education to be provided by Manager of Plant Maintenance or designee)
* Provides training for other Maintenance personnel in areas of expertise requested by Supervisor or Manager of Plant Maintenance
* Performs routine rounds as requested and monitors necessary equipment and conditions
* Works well without direct supervision
* Performs routine maintenance on the following system: Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds and Fire Prevention Equipment

Qualifications:

Required

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
* Five (5) years experience in a general maintenance or similar position
